Nshimiyimana Jules Fidele serves as a Consultant Neurologist at Kenyatta University Teaching and Referral Hospital and holds an affiliate consultancy at Aga Khan Hospital, Kisumu in Kenya. His career has been primarily focused on the development and implementation of strategies to improve the delivery of specialized neurological services, especially in resource-limited settings. His efforts are centered on developing and implementing strategies that address both the clinical and educational needs in these challenging environments.

A key area of Dr. Nshimiyimana's academic and clinical interest lies in the diagnostic facets of epilepsy. His expertise encompasses advanced EEG monitoring techniques, contributing significantly to the nuanced understanding and management of epilepsy and its associated complications. He is the Site investigator on our SSHRC project for our Kenya site.
