Kennedy Opande is a PhD candidate in Anthropology in the Department of Anthropology, Gender and African Studies at the University of Nairobi. He is a member of the ‘Anthropology of Life’ team directed by Dr. Perig Pitrou at College de France. He has been published in Social Analysis: The International Journal of Anthropology, and has a paper forthcoming in Cultural Anthropology.
